Module Description: – The Information Literacy module aims to equip learners with the essential skills and knowledge needed to navigate the vast amount of information available in today’s digital age. In this module, participants will learn how to critically evaluate information sources, effectively search for information, and responsibly use and cite sources in their academic, professional, and personal pursuits. Through interactive activities and practical examples, learners will develop the ability to distinguish between reliable and unreliable information, avoid plagiarism, and become informed digital citizens.

Module Learning Objectives: By the end of this module, participants should be able to: Define information literacy and explain its importance in the digital age.Evaluate the credibility and reliability of different types of information sources.Effectively search for information using appropriate search tools and techniques.Critically evaluate information based on established criteria.Understand and apply ethical practices in using and citing information.Demonstrate responsible digital citizenship and protect online privacy.
